Embarking on her journey at Butler Beauty School in early 2024, Mel joined the Profiles team in February of the same year. Freshly graduated and newly licensed, she's diving into her training at Profiles with enthusiasm and dedication.

Always eager to learn, she's attended the Premier Hair Show in Columbus, a Hanzo shear cutting class, and various color classes. At school, Mel’s passion for big transformations with haircuts and color shined through, especially when it comes to bold, fashion colors and layered haircuts that pair perfectly with a great blowout. She also brings her love for nail services and intricate nail art to the salon.

Mel is committed to creating beautiful looks that clients can easily maintain at home. She recommends a smoothing serum for smooth blowouts, a heat protector, and a repairing shampoo and conditioner to keep hair healthy and vibrant.

Coming from a close-knit family of six, Mel cherishes her time with loved ones. Her rescued black cat, Binx, is her bestie. Outside of the salon, she enjoys listening to all kinds of music, attending concerts, and crafting the perfect playlists. Mel finds peace in nature, with hiking being her favorite activity. At home, she loves creating nail art and winding down with a good movie.
